The Republic of Angola has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of implementation of Institutional Capacity Building for Private Sector Development Project (ICBPSDP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this loan to payments under the contract, for technical assistance to the Ministry of Economy and Planning in carrying out the PREPARATION OF THE TEXTILE, GARMENT, AND FOOTWEAR VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT STUDY.
The study will focus on the textile, garment, and footwear cluster of the following sectors: school, police, and military uniforms and work clothes, outwear clothing, tailored clothing, sewing threads, labels and braids, finished fabric, shoes, leather items, traveling items, and shoe components.
