Provision of Cafeteria, Restaurant and Bar Services at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa Compound, Addis Ababa

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced hoteliers, caterers, restaurant, business entities and companies operating a multicultural and/or international market. The vendor (s) will provide Cafeteria, Restaurant and Bar Services at UNECA Compound and also provide ad-hoc event catering as and when required including catering for conferences and meetings held at UNECA at established catering/ cafeteria/ café areas in the UN Compound. Furthermore, ECA require potential development of some other small coffee/ cafeteria/ break areas on the compound to be created and equipped by successful component. The Contractor shall provide international and local cuisine and will provide the catering services in conformity to internalional standards governing food quality and safety, storage, preparation, hygiene and service.

Vendors who express their interest will be invited to participate in a teder through “Request for Proposal” (RFP). This tender will envisage the selection of a firm (s) to undertake the above mentioned services within the described specifications that are detailed in the RFP.

UNECA is precluded from entering into a contract with a firm that is not fully registered with United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM). Only those vendors who are registered or provisionally registered or have started their registration process in UNGM will be eligible to receive the solicitation document – RFP.
