Recycling and disposal of waste from the Munich premises of the European Patent Office

Item Description:

The European Patent Organisation (EPO) is an intergovernmental organisation that was set up on 7 October 1977 on the basis of the European Patent Convention (EPC) signed in Munich in 1973.

The EPO has a requirement for Recycling and disposal of waste covering:

1). paper, documents and cardboard
2). document destruction in accordance with DIN 66399
3). mixed municipal waste
4). waste for recycling, e.g.

• glass, metal (cans), metal (cables), other metal.
• plastic, foil/film, polystyrene, lightweight plastic, garden waste, grit, wood, bulky waste.
• electronic waste, fluorescent tubes, insulating material, data carriers, tyres, toner.

5). providing skips, containers and confidential waste bins
