Manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 400 KV DC Line on DC tower with ACSR Quad Moose Conductor from the Existing Kayathar 400/230 KV SS to the Proposed Virudhunagar 765/400/230 KV SS for a length of 72KM Falling in Wind Zone-2 Under Total Turnkey Contract

The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Power Sector Investment Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 400 KV DC Line on DC tower with ACSR Quad Moose Conductor from the Existing Kayathar 400/230 KV SS to the Proposed Virudhunagar 765/400/230 KV SS for a length of 72KM Falling in Wind Zone-2 Under Total Turnkey Contract.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
