Detailed Engineering, Fabrication, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 400/230-110 kV AIS substation at Ottapidaram in Tirunelveli Region and Erection of 2 Nos 400 kV DC lines under Total Turnkey Basis

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Power Sector Investment Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Detailed Engineering, Fabrication, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 400/230-110 kV AIS substation at Ottapidaram in Tirunelveli Region and Erection of 2 Nos 400 kV DC lines under Total Turnkey Basis. The Time for Completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 18 months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.

Invitation for Bids
