Supply and Delivery of Heavy Duty 4×4 Sport Utility Vehicles

The UN Procurement Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers or their authorized agents for the supply and delivery of Heavy Duty 4 x 4 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) including the provision of spare parts and ancillary services to the United Nations Field Missions in support of UN field missions and UN Entities worldwide. Current UN field mission loactions include the Middle East, the Balkans, Africa, the Carribean and Europe. The resulting contract(s) will be on “as and when” required basis, and will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for 2 additional periods of 1 year each.

By Heavy Duty 4 x 4 SUV, the UN means a heavy duty sport utility vehicle equipped with heavy-duty suspension for full time off-road use, excellent ground clearance and excellent wading depth, with a payload above 700kgs. The vehicles will be provided in three variants (General Puropose, VIP and Police Patrol). The successful vendor(s) will supply brand new vehicles and also provide after-sales support services (e.g. spare parts, warranty, tools, training, etc.) throughout the whole life cycle of the vehicles. Detailed technical specifications and after sale support requirements will be provided to eligible vendors in the solicitation document.

Please note that this Request for Expression of Interest is not for refurbished vehicles, and neither is it for traders, brokers, or grey market dealers.

It is the United Nations preference to enter into a contract(s) with vehicle manufacturers. However, should the manufacturer appoint a third party to respond to the solicitation and/or to enter into a contract with the UN, any resulting contract must be co-signed by the manufacturer. Similarly, should a vendor who is not a manufacturer want to respond to the solicitation, such vendor shall provide evidence that the manufacture agrees to co-sign any resulting contract(s).
