The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of 28 member states that are located primarily in Europe.

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Communication is planning to award the contracts for the provision of Integrated Audiovisual Production, Distribution and Archiving Services. The requirement is for the operation of the commission’s television and radio studios, audiovisual coverage, production and distribution of EU news, production and distribution of audiovisual products for the general public; IT and web services, preservation and archiving services; provision of transmission services.

Lot 2: Audiovisual Archiving, Distribution and Web Develop.

Services related to the management of the audiovisual library, Services related to web development, maintenance and support for audiovisual content.

Lot 3: Streaming, Transcoding, Hosting and Content Delivery.

Digital services covering live and on demand streaming, transcoding, hosting and delivery of audiovisual content to media professionals and general public.

Lot 4: Provision of Transmission Services.

Provision of a technical infrastructure necessary for the transmission of High Definition television services via satellite.
