    Item Description:

The European Investment Fund (EIF) Data Hub division and ICE (Investment Compliance & Eligibility) division within Operation and Information Management department (hereinafter “OIM”) and EIF Operations Risk Management division within the Risk Management department (hereinafter “RM-ORM”) are looking for a service provider operating in the financial sector and specialised in the collection, administration, processing, reporting and monitoring of financial data for the Provision of Services to Outsourcing OIM and RM-ORM Activities.

    Introduction to OIM activities

The EIF targets the debt requirements of SMEs by providing guarantees and credit enhancement and thus improving the lending capacity of FIs and stimulating bank lending to SMEs. The EIF encourages FIs to increase their lending volumes by guaranteeing part of the risks they may incur on their portfolios of SME loans or leases.

    About the EIF

The EIF was established in 1994 and is a specialist provider of risk finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) across Europe. The EIF has a tri-partite shareholder structure including the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Union represented by the European Commission (EC), and 32 banks and financial institutions. The EIF has its own legal personality and financial autonomy among the institutions of the European Union.

The EIF carries out its activities using either its own resources or those provided by the EIB, the EC, the EU Member States or other third parties. By developing and offering targeted financial instruments to its network of selected financial intermediaries (FIs), such as venture capital and private equity funds, banks, guarantee and leasing institutions and micro-credit providers, EIF’s goal is to enhance access to finance for SMEs.
