Procurement and supply of transmission line construction equipment and live line crew equipment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program – Tranche 3. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. No nationality restrictions apply, other than restrictions arising from ITB 4.8.

The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, “the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement and supply of transmission line construction equipment and live line crew equipment with the following lot details:

Lot I: Cranes
Lot II: Tension and Pulling Equipment of 500kV & 220kV Transmission Lines
Lot III: Fork Lifters
Lot IV: Trucks
Lot V: Integrated Live Line Insulator Washing Units
Lot VI: 500kV and 220kV Transmission Line Maintenance Tools and Equipment

Bidders may bid for one, combination, or all lots.

The Time for Completion, as described in the Bidding Documents, shall be 270 days from the Effective Date of each lot, as described in the Bidding Documents.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders without nationality restrictions.
