Supply of gensets groups and exhaustion pumps

Item Description:

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which updated was published on the EBRD website, Procurement Notices (http://www.ebrd.com) on 04 March 2019.

The National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (“L’Office National de d’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable” or “ONEE”), here in after referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank” or the “EBRD”) towards the cost of ONEE Water Supply Project.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:  Supply of gensets groups and exhaustion pumps: lot 1: gensets

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• The tenderer must have an average annual turnover of at least Six million Dirhams excluding tax ( 6 millions MAD) , which is the total of mandated payments received for on-going and / or completed contracts during the three (03) years (2016-2017-2018).

The tenderers must justify having access to financing (liquid assets or cash facilities) of one million Moroccan Dirhams (MAD 1.000,000,00) or its equivalent in freely convertible currencies;

• Experience in implementation of at least one (1) supply contract of similar nature and complexity in the last (05) years with the minimum value of one million Moroccan Dirhams (excluding taxes) that include:

–  Supply of generators or motor pumps or electropump or submersible groups.

The tender documents can be obtained free of charge from the tender’s office of the ONEE-Branche Eau at the address below.

The same documents can be downloaded from the public procurement portal at: https://www.marchespublics.gov.ma. Plans on CD are available at the tender’s office of the ONEE-Branche Eau and are part of the tender documents.

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of one hundred and twenty thousand  Moroccan Dirhams (120.000,00 MAD) or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before 03 September  2019 at 9h30mn (local time), at which time they will be opened in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
