Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the CAREC Corridor 3 (Bishkek–Osh Road) Improvement Project, Phase 4. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation and Upgrading of CAREC Corridor 3 (Bishkek–Osh Road) Bishkek–Kara Balta Section (km 8.5–km 15.9) for 24 months (“the Works”).
International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
