Objective of this tender

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published on the EBRD website, Procurement Notices (www.ebrd.com) on 04/03/2019.

The National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (“L’Office National de l’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable” or “ONEE”), here in after referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank” or the “EBRD”) towards the cost of  ONEE Water Supply Project.

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: Rehabilitation of Rocade Water Treatment Station filters in Marrakech.

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• The tenderer must have an average annual turnover of at least ten Million Moroccan Dirhams excluding tax (10.000.000,00 MAD), which is the total of effected payments received for on-going and / or completed contracts during the last three (03) years (2016-2017-2018).

• Experience as principal contractor in the context of at least two (2) contracts of similar work type and nature in the past ten (10) years that include:

• Realization, construction or rehabilitation of sand filters for water treatment
• Realization or rehabilitation of a drinking water treatment station

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of ninety-six thousand dirhams (96 000.00 MAD) or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

Tenders must deliver to the office at the address below on or before 05/09/2019 at 10 h 00 (local time), at which time they will open in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend at the opening on, 05/09/2019 at 10 h 00 min (local time) at the address below.
