This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online AfDB 1062-09/18 of 27^th September 2018 online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat has received Financing from the African Development Bank in EURO towards the cost of Southern African Regional Climate Information Services for Disaster Resilience Development Project (SARCIS DR Project). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply, configuration, delivery and installation of Numerical Weather Prediction and Climate Modelling Infrastructure (Storage Server and Broadband Internet)

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply, configuration, delivery and installation of Numerical Weather Prediction and Climate Modelling Infrastructure (Storage Server and Broadband Internet)

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document:  Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.

Bids must be delivered to the office at paragraph 8 on or before 1400 hours CAT (Botswana time) on Thursday 31 October 2019.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 1400hours CAT (Botswana time) on Thursday 31 October 2019. at the offices of SADC Secretariat,  Plot 54385, New CBD, Private Bag 0095 ,Gaborone, Botswana.

The bids to be deposited in the Tender Box at the Reception Ground Floor.
