Construction of Bridge connecting the Northern urban area of Hieu river with Dong Ha city center

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Greater Mekong Sub-region Corridor Town Development Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

Quang Tri Department of Planning and Investment through the Quang Tri Transport infrastructure construction Project Management Unit invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Bridge connecting the Northern urban area of Hieu river with Dong Ha city center, with the major information as follows:

1. Construction of Bridge across Hieu river in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province, the work consists of two items: bridge and approach roads at two side of bridge.
2. Stayed cable Bridge with span arrangement 2x100m, towel’s height of 73m, putting upper the 1.5m bored piles system. Total length of bridge is 210m
3. The approach road has roadbed width of 25m, pavement of 16m, asphalt concrete pavement structure, length of approach road is 117m.

International competitive bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
