Provision of Transport Services to the European Commission

Item Description:

The European Commission, Directorate General for Health and Food Safety, (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their annexes. Technical specifications

The European Commission wishes to conclude a contract for the supply of transport services for its Grange site, Dunsany, County Meath. This contract covers the following activities.

General

These technical specifications cover the provision of a transport service between Dublin City centre and the European Commission in Grange, Dunsany, Co. Meath.

The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all legal requirements associated with the provision of this service. These requirements shall include but shall not be limited to insurance, driving licence, road tax, seat belts and vehicle roadworthiness.

The Contractor shall ensure that all of the services covered are provided in a consistent and coordinated manner.

The Contractor shall fully cooperate with all the other Contractors on the Grange site. In case of conflict, the European Commission will take the final decision.
