Provision of Offsite Storage and Digitizing of Documents, Records and Samples

As part of the organization’s broader effort to advance and unify information management, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Supply Division (SD) located in Copenhagen, Denmark, plans to establish a Long Term Arrangement for Services (LTAS) with a service provider to deliver offsite records storage services.

Currently, SD has approx. 650 pallets (EPAL) of mostly paper documents and some boxed samples that need storage at the appointed service provider’s facility. Each pallet contains estimated up to 1 [m3] of materials and may contain from 1 to 10 standard archival boxes. The materials are currently stored in a warehouse in Taastrup.

SD estimates that approx. 500 additional standard archiving boxes of paper records will require offsite storage during the terms of the LTA. This number is an estimation, UNICEF cannot warrant any minimum quantity or contract value under the LTA.

The appointed service provider, however, will be regarded as a designated provider for offsite storage needs of the SD during the term of the LTA.
