Procurement of Backhoe Loaders

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Georgia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Urban Services Improvement Investment Program (USIIP) – Tranche 6, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payment under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The United Water Supply Company of Georgia (UWSCG) (the Purchaser) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of 10 units of Backhoe Loaders (small) and 4 units of Backhoe Loaders (general) that shall be delivered at UWSCG’s premises in the town of Gori, Georgia with the following details:

• 4 General Backhoe Loaders with Operational Weight: min. 9.5 – max. 11 Tons
• 10 units Backhoe Loaders (small) with Operational Weight: min. 8 – max. 9.5 Tons
• 1-year warranty

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
