Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporationof India L FCCIL) has applied for financing from World Bank towards the cost of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Project– III for Pilkhani – Khurja(Phase –II of EDFC-3, 221 ms) section and intends to apply part of the proceeds forengagement of Social & ; Environmental Safeguard monitoring and review consultant (SESMRC).
This consulting servicesincludes monitoring and reviewin g of various social and environmental safeguards associated with land acquisition, Compensation,R&R policies, Environmental Man agement Plan, Information disclosure, Communication etc for EDFC project between Pilkhani -Khurja(Phase –II of EDFC-3, 221 ms ) section for a period of 45 months.
The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation ofIndia now invites eligible consulting firms(Consultants) to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interestingconsultants should provide information demonstratin g that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience toperform the services. The short listing criteria are that th e Consultants should have undertaken at least one similar assignment,particularly linear projects like Railways/ Highways/ Cross co untry pipelines etc. funded by multilateral agencies in last sevenyears. The consultant should have qualified and experienced quali fied personnel in their team.
The attention of interestedConsultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guid elines: Selection and Employment of Consultants[under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank borrowers January, 2011 revised July 2014(“ConsultantGuidelines”) setting forth the World Bank’s policy o n conflict of interest.
Consultantmay associate with other firms in the form of a Joint Venture or the sub-consultancy t o enhance their qualifications.
AConsultant will be selected in accordance with the “Quality and Cost Based Selection ( QCBS)” method set out in theConsultant’s Guidelines
