Material Supply and Installation of Kim Son component

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Water Sector Investment Program – Tranche 2 and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Haiphong Water Joint Stock Company (Haiphong Water) for Haiphong Water Supply Project (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction and Completion of the Material Supply and Installation of Kim Son component consisting of the following:

(i)  Transmission Main System D600 Water Pipeline, Vat Cach WTP to Highway No. 5 with length of 2.782 km;
(ii)  Transmission Main System D400 Water Pipeline, Highway from An Hung to Dai Ban with length of 2.793 km; and
(iii)  Transmission Main System D500 Water Pipeline, New Highway No. 5 from Vat Cach WTP to So Dau with length of 8.050 km.

National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
