Water Distribution Works for Malindi Water and Sewerage Company (MAWASCO)-WATAMU LOT 2A in Coast Water Works Development Agency Area

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

The Government of the Republic of Kenya has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Kenya Towns Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Programme. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Water Distribution Works for Malindi Water and Sewerage Company (MAWASCO)-WATAMU LOT 2A in Coast Water Works Development Agency Area.

The Athi Water Works Development Agency, one of the executing agencies of the program, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of the following works:

WATAMU LOT 2A- WATER DISTRIBUTION WORKS

1. Preliminary and General items
2. Laying of 1.7km, DN300mm Ferrous Pipes Epoxy Coated Cement lined pipes
3. Laying of 2.6km HDPE Pipes ranging from 90mm dia. To 160mm dia.
4. Laying of 11.3km, UPVC Class B pipes 90mm dia.
5. Laying of 7.5km HDPE pipes ranging from 50mm, 63mm, 75mm dia
6. Installation of approx… 300Nr Consumer connections
7. Ancillary civil works

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only).
