Provision and Management of Catering Services at the UN Complex, Gigiri

Re- Qualifications

Only those vendors meeting the following pre-qualification criteria will be invited to participate in the anticipated tender exercise:

a. The vendor shall provide proof that they have been in operation for at least the last five years. To support this, interested firms must submit their business registration /incorporation /license showing when their business was registered and must provide a company profile detailing their experience in the provision and management of catering services

b. The vendor shall demonstrate that they have the requisite experience by citing two completed or ongoing contracts that are comparable in size and scope of the UN requirement. For each of the contracts listed, the vendor must provide the following details:

• The Client’s name including valid contact details that clearly indicate a point of contact, phone number and email
• The nature/description of the services under the contract
• The date of assignment of the contract and duration of the contract
• The Value of the Contract

Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms and qualification documents to unon-procurement-rfx@un.org, with a copy to eunice.mapenzi@un.org. Vendors should clearly indicate which requirement they are expressing interest for 1) Delegates Dining Room, 2) UNRC Restaurant and 3) NOF Coffee Stations or all. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line.

IMPORTANT:
Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. Companies interested in providing the above services should submit a completed Vendor Response Form. UNON will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill the requirement. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Vendors that are deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submission will receive the final tender solicitation documents.
