Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Third Urban Governance and Infrastructure Improvement (Sector) Project (UGIIP-III) – Additional Financing. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) (“the Employer”) invites online bids/tenders from eligible Bidders for Construction of Roads and Drains at Khagrachari Pourashava (“the Works”).
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
