Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Greater Colombo Water & Wastewater Management Improvement Investment Program – Project 1 and intends to apply part of the loan funds to cover eligible payments under the above-mentioned Contract. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB
The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee-Major (PPC-Major), on behalf of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the following:
- Lot A: Field Investigation, Supply & Delivery of Electromagnetic Meters and Other Related Equipment (with battery powered transmitters & loggers) for High Usage Customer Service, Installation and Commissioning of Electromagnetic Meters, Transmitters, Loggers, Kiosks and Other Related Equipment.
- Lot B: Supply & Delivery of Dual Channel GSM/GPRS IP68 Loggers with High Performance In-built Antenna for Remote Data Reading.
Bidders can bid for one Lot or both Lots.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
