Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Gas insulated 220kV Lapsiphedi Substation, 132kV Changunarayan Substation and upgradation of Teku Substation and Suichatar Substation

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Nepal has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Power Transmission and Distribution Efficiency Enhancement Project. Part of the loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Gas insulated 220kV Lapsiphedi Substation, 132kV Changunarayan Substation and upgradation of Teku Substation and Suichatar Substation (“the Facilities”).

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
