Acquisition of Equipment, Materials and Tools for Rehabilitation Mobility Sciences Laboratories-CEBE.

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

The Government of Rwanda has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of Regional Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and eHealth (CEBE) Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Acquisition of Equipment, Materials and Tools for Rehabilitation Mobility Sciences Laboratories-CEBE.

The University of Rwanda now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Lot 2: Acquisition of Equipment, Materials and Tools for Rehabilitation Mobility Sciences Laboratories-CEBE.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of UR SPIU Procurement office at Kicukiro campus P.O Box 4285 Kigali or on email to cebeprojectprocurement@gmail.com with a copy to cebeprojectcoordinator@gmail.com.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 20,000 Rwf or its equivalent in a convertible currency. This payment can be made through E-banking to the RRA Accounts (RRA/NON-FISCAL REVENU) opened in all different commercial banks. The tender document shall be sent to the bidders through their e-mails after receiving the proof of transfer.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods &Works 2008 edition, revised July 2012. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10.00 a.m Kigali hour / 8.00 a.m GMT on 07/07/2020 and must be accompanied by a security issued by a recognized bank as follows: Lot one: Two Million Rwandan Francs (2,000,000Frw), Lot two :Two Million and Five Hundred Rwandan Francs (2,500,000Frw) (or its equivalent ) in a convertible currency.
