Design, Construction, Commissioning and Operation Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Issyk-Kul Wastewater Management Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Development under the State Agency for Water Resources (the Employer), invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the design, construction, commissioning and operation of a 4,200 m3/day capacity Wastewater Treatment Plant in Balykchy, Issyk-Kul Oblast, Kyrgyz Republic (“the Facilities”).

The Facilities shall be completed within 730 calendar days after signing the contract. The technical requirements of the Facilities are contained in Section 6 of the Bidding Document, the Employer’s Requirements.

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
