Printing and fulfillment services of the Africa Renewal/Afrique Nouveau Magazine for the United Nations Headquarters in New York

Prospective vendor would be required to have the capability to provide services outlined as follows:

(1) Printing of the magazines three (3) issues per year in English and French: Page Size: 8 1⁄2” X 11”; with/without bleed on cover; No of Pages: 36-44 pages self-cover (English & French); Paper: 70 lb Silk; Inks: CYMK 4-color; Binding: Saddle Stitched 2-wires

(2) Fulfillment/Mailing: Vendor will be required to transfer data from an Excel database file to print envelopes or labels to be placed on boxes and padded bubble envelopes. The vendor will be provided with pre-printed envelopes which can hold up to four magazines. These envelopes must be stored on site. The vendor must supply all other high quality packaging materials, including cartons, bubble envelopes and tape necessary for closure.

(3) Packaging: The vendor’s facility must be able to store until completed, approximately 170 cartons of English magazines and 100 cartons of French magazine. The facility must include a freight elevator which can contain large skids and a loading dock. For the English mailing there are approximately 25,000 magazines, 12,300 magazines sent in individual envelopes and the remaining divided into parcels, both large envelopes and boxes. For the French mailing there are approximately 15,000 pieces. From this, about 4,500 magazines are singles and the remaining are sent in packages of two or more magazines.

(4) Delivery: Vendor must mail items via US Mail, International mail and Mail to Canada The categories are US Mail, International Mail, Mail to Canada, Diplomatic Pouch. Overs must be returned to the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
