Installation of 124Mvar Breaker Switched Capacitor Banks in Colombo City Grid Substations and Replacing the Detuned Breaker Switched Capacitor Banks at Thulhiriya Grid Substation

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Supporting Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply and Install for Package 7 – Lot A3, consisting of:

Completion period is 548 days.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
