The Government of India has received a Credit (Credit 5349-IN) from the International Development Association in variouscurrenci es towards the cost of Bihar Integrated Social Protection Strengthening Project and it is intended that part of theproceeds of thiscredit will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for which this Invitation for Bids isissued.
The Bihar R ural Development Society (BRDS), Rural Development Department, Government ofBihar(Purchaser) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of Desktops, Laptops &accessories; Supply, & Installation. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect thebidding documents during office hours at the office of the BRDS, Patna, Bihar, India.
Bidding will be conducted throughthe National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures agreed with World Bank.& nbsp; The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders andin the General Conditions of contract are based on the provisions of the Wor ld Bank Standard Bidding Document – Procurement ofGoods. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 of the Guidelines sett ing forth the World Bank’s policy onconflict of interest.
The bid document is available on the website http://www.rdd.bih. nic.in and could be freely downloaded byinterested bidders. “The bidders, who have downloaded the bid documents, shall be sol ely responsible for checking thewebsite for any addendum/amendment issued subsequently to the bid document and take into considerat ion the same while preparingand submitting the bids”.
