Item Description:
This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website on 21st February 2020.
The Government of Uganda has received Financing from the African Development Bank Group towards the cost of the Kampala City Roads Rehabilitation Project (KCRRP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Road construction civil works for the upgrading of roads and junctions to improve mobility in Kampala.
The Kampala Capital City Authority now invites sealed bids from bidders for the execution of the works indicated below:
Lot 1: Upgrading to paved standard of 8.07km and reconstruction of 6.83 km roads including signalization of seven (7) junctions in Lubaga and Makindye Divisions.
Lot 2: Reconstruction and Dualling of 10.01Km Port Bell and Spring Roads including signalization of five (5) junctions in Nakawa Division.
