Supply of Computer Equipment and Multimedia Room Equipment for Sector for Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing

Item Description:

The mission of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) is to take forward the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policies, as well as coordinating relations with EEA-EFTA countries insofar as Commission policies are concerned. DG NEAR works closely with the European External Action Service and the line DGs in charge of thematic priorities.

By implementing assistance actions in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood, DG NEAR supports reform and democratic consolidation, and strengthens the prosperity, stability and security around Europe. DG NEAR helps to promote EU values, policies and interests in this region, and to contribute to developing the special relationship of the EU with its neighbouring countries.

Subject of the contract

The subject of the contract is supply, delivery, unloading, testing, putting into operation and where requested installation and commercial warranty for relevant items of IT and multimedia room equipment for sector for prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing within Police Directorate. Since most of the information being processed on daily basis in sector is classified, equipment used for this purpose must be protected from emanating spurious transmissions in line with Law on Data Secrecy and Regulation on Closer Conditions and Manner of Implementation of Information Measures for Protection of Classified Information. Part of required equipment is necessary for safekeeping of classified information and documents, used in daily operation, which must be deposited in line with the above-mentioned legislation. Main objective of contract is to enable SPMLTF to receive and analyse data in line with Law on Data Secrecy, Law on Information Security and Law on Personal Data Protection.
