Provision of Security Services for the European Asylum Support Office Premises in Malta

The European Asylum Support Office (EASO), referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Current situation in the Sector

EASO is looking to procure security services from professional and trustworthy provider, to safeguard its staff, deployed persons and assets in EASO HQ, and operational units in the field in Malta.

Overall objective

The objective of this framework contract is to enable EASO in Malta to obtain high standard security services, provided by a licenced security company through the engagement of experienced and well trained security guards and in accordance with the best practices in the industry.

Scope

The services to be covered by the Framework Contract include physical security guards’ services.

The services are currently required in EASO HQ in Valletta, but may, in the future, extend to other locations in the country. Thus, the provider of security services under this contract will need to have the ability and capacity to provide security services in any locations in Malta. The required security services will depend on the local situation and operational needs and the provider will need to have the capacity to adjust the levels of security services provision at short notice.
