Provision of Internet services via fiber optic at UNOCA in Libreville, Gabon

The Global Procurement Support Section, UN Procurement Division on behalf of United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA) intends to establish a long-term contract for the provision of Internet services via fiber optic at UNOCA in Libreville, Gabon.

The contract term shall be for an initial period of two (2) year, with the UN sole option to extend the term of the contract for three (3) additional periods of one year each (2+1+1+1)

The required Internet bandwidth for Internet connectivity link for World Wide Web and other Internet services is 10/10Mbps.

The proposer should provide capacity of 10mbps Symmetrical link with detailed technical specification. the Service Provider should make available eight (8) IPv4 addresses to UNOCA with possibility to migrate to IPV6. Two of the IP addresses will be used for public internet purpose and six others will be used internally and for backup purposes. The Service provider must guarantee that full bandwidth capacity be maintained at all time to allow for maximum throughput. However, minimum acceptable is 97% of full bandwidth. The latency is to be measured between 08:00 – 20:00Hrs during work days as well as overnight. Apart for UN monitoring tools, the Service Provider’s Monitoring Tool will be used for measuring the latency and UNOCA may request access to these.
