Advance Tender for Chemical Pesticides for Desert Locust Intervention

Item Description:

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites manufacturers of pesticides and their authorized partners distributors to participate in this “Advance Tender” for chemical pesticides required in various countries within Africa, the Near East and Asia.

The results of this Advance Tender will be used for obtaining a list of “Pre-Qualified” suppliers who are offering technically compliant products. Procurement of the actual quantities required in the different countries will be done by ad-hoc re-use of the tender results, i.e. requests for Best & Final Offer (BAFO). Pre-Qualified suppliers, at a later date, will be invited to submit their BAFO for exact quantities by each single country.
