Supply and Installation for Laboratory Equipment at MUHAS

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).

The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) in various currencies towards the cost of Centre of Excellence in Cardiovascular Sciences. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply and Installation for Laboratory Equipment at MUHAS.

The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Installation of Laboratory Equipment (hereinafter called “the Goods”).

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences at Office of Procurement Management Unit, Block “H” Ground Floor, Tel: G/Line +255-22-2150302/6, Direct Line: +255-22-2152912, Mobile phone 0784463399/0736626326 and Email – muisatz@gmail.com/ hrubeya@muhas.ac.tz.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the said Executing Agency, and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings 150,000.00 through Control No. 991540074725.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Procurement Framework Dated October, 2015 available at http://www.afdb.org.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00am on 29th June, 2021 and must be accompanied by Bid Security Declaration.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:00am on 29th June, 2021 at the MPL Board Room of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.
