Provision of weaving equipment and materials to various locations in Burkina Faso and Benin

Item Description:

The International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint subsidiary organ of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, hereby invites you to submit a bid to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the above subject.

This ITB is part of Ethical Fashion Initiative in Burkina Faso and Benin, implemented by the Empowering Poor Communities to Trade (EPCTP) program of the International Trade Centre (ITC), funded by the European Union. The purchase of this requirement aims to rationalize weaving and artisanal production techniques through the establishment of centralized centers for preparing and dyeing threads (for danfani fabrics but also bogolan).

This ITB consists of this letter, the subsequent instructions and the following annexes:

• Annex A:  Acknowledgement Letter
• Annex B:  UN General Conditions of contract for the provision of goods and services – please sign each page (mandatory)
• Annex C:  Price Schedules for 8 LOTS – please fill in and sign (mandatory)

You are kindly requested to return the attached Annex A – Acknowledgement Letter, duly signed by an authorized representative of your company, to the ITC via email msarkulova@intracen.org ,  Attention: Manshuk Sarkulova (the Procurement Officer), who shall serve as a focal point of contact with regard to this ITB, no later than 09 July 2021. The letter should advise whether your company intends to submit a Bid and if not, indicate the reason.

In addition to the above, due to the specific nature of this requirement and to a number of locations where the equipment is to be delivered, these tender is divided into 8 LOTS.  Vendors are invited to quote all or any of eight (08) lots by fulfilling the following minimum mandatory requirements:

Bids are required to be received by ITC no later than 27 July 2021 before midnight, Geneva time (the Closing Date).
