Procurement of Refrigerated Van

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Invitation to Bid (ITB)

UNICEF Bangladesh Office is inviting bid for Procurement of Refrigerated Van as per the attached LITB document and Bid Response Form.

Please note the following points:

1. The Bid will only be received at the E-mail address, ebidsbangladesh@unicef.org. In case of email submission, no other recipient should be copied (“Cc” or “Bcc”)
2. The bid should be quoted in Bid Response Form-ANNEX-B

4. The Bid submission deadline is  Monday, 13 September 2021 by 11:00 am, Dhaka time
5. This bid is intended for local bidders only. International manufacturers/suppliers are requested to participate in this bid through their local agents registered in Bangladesh only.
