Construction of small-scale irrigation systems in municipalities of North Macedonia – Phase II

Purpose of this contract

The purpose of this contract is construction of small-scale irrigation systems to irrigate approximately 500ha of agriculture land in three Municipalities in North Macedonia. The works planned include construction of small-scale irrigation systems on three locations in Republic of North Macedonia – Tearce in Municipality of Tetovo (LOT 1), Pishica in Municipality of Probištip (LOT 2) and Konopnica in Municipality of Kriva Palanka (LOT 3). The works involve construction of river diversion structures on two locations (Tearce and Konopnica) and construction of primary (around 9 km) and secondary (around 24 km) irrigation networks with auxiliary structures (around 248 structures) to install hydrants, water meters, etc. on all three locations. The irrigation networks are designed as pressure pipe irrigation systems (gravity systems) with controlled and measured flow regimes.
