Internal Electrification & Installation of Medical Gas System at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the ADB toward the cost of COVID-19 Response Emergency Assistance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan for payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by ADB and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB’s Procurement Regulations will govern the bidding process. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Public Works Department (PWD, the “Employer”) invites bids/tenders from eligible bidders/tenderers/contractors for the Internal Electrification & Installation of Medical Gas System at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka (the “Works).

Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure through the national electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) portal of Bangladesh (https://www.eprocure.gov.bd/) and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
