Design and Construction of Power Lines to San Vicente Agricultural Station and Fingerlings Production Center

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

The Government of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Cabinda Province Agriculture Value Chains Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Design and Construction of Power Lines to San Vicente Agricultural Station and Fingerlings Production Center.

The Agrarian Development Institute / Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the execution of the Works which entail the design and construction of power lines to San Vicente Agricultural Station and Fingerlings Production Center.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding, (NCB) method as specified in the Procurement Framework for Bank Group Funded Operations dated 2015 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

The bidding document in English may be obtained free of charge by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 am on 29 October 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 10:15 am on 29 October 2021.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
