The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Northern Rural Infrastructure Development Sector Project – Additional Financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Department of Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for NRI-AF-NCB-007.1: Houay Bong Irrigation Rehabilitation in Pha Oudom district, Bokeo Province (the “Works”). Implementation time is twelve (12) months, and the Defect Liability period is twelve (12) months.
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
