The European Commission, Joint Research Centre – Ispra (JRC-IPR) is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the letter of invitation, and the annexes. All documents are available in the enclosed ZIP File.

Objective of the contract

The objective of the contract is the provision of Passenger transport service to and from the Joint Research Centre (JRC), Ispra site (Italy). Framework service contracts for lots 1 to 7 (predetermined basic routes and ad hoc transport)

For lots 1 to 6, the envisaged contracts are for the bus transport service, divided into 6 different predetermined daily basic routes, to and from the various cities in the region for all the staff and other passengers involved in the activities of the JRC Ispra site. The services are to be provided 5 days a week, according to working days, with a round trip — to the JRC-Ispra site in the morning and from the JRC Ispra site in the evening. However, for possible service requirements, the contract provides for the possibility of making more than one return trip on one or more routes. The services will take place in Italy. For lot 7, a contract is to be concluded providing for occasional travel in order to cover occasional transport services for (mainly) visitors coming to the JRC Ispra site (for conferences, meetings, etc.). The services will take place mainly in Italy.
