The European Commission, Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Subject of this call for tenders

The subject of this call for tenders is Purchase, supply, storage and replacement of live attenuated vaccine against classical swine fever.

The supplies that are the subject of this call for tenders, including any minimum requirements, are described in detail below.

Variants (alternatives to the model solution described in the tender specifications) are not allowed. The Contracting authority will disregard any variants described in a tender.

The purpose of the contract is:

• the purchase, supply, storage and replacement of 1.000.000 doses of live attenuated vaccine against CSF with a validity period of at least 24 months;
• to determine the modalities to ensure a rapid delivery of the vaccine in case of emergency vaccination of kept porcine animals;
• the replacement of 1.000.000 doses of live attenuated vaccine against CSF, if completely depleted or depleted of at least 60% (due to the expiry of validity period of the vaccine or its delivery to any place referred to in point 1.4.2.5), at most 3 times during a period of 5 years after initial purchase;
• the storage of vaccines in stock at the end of the period of 5 years for their remaining validity period;
• the destruction and safe disposal of vaccine stock for which the validity period has expired during the contract.
