Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Tajikistan has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Climate and Disaster Resilient Irrigation and Drainage Modernization in the Vakhsh River Basin Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Project Implementation Group (PIG) under the SI “Capital and Land Reclamation Construction” under Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation (ALRI) of the Republic of Tajikistan (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Heavy Machinery for Vakhsh Canal Agency.
Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One–Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
