Provision of Mobile Telecommunications Services and Equipment

Item Description:

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Mobile Telecommunication Services and Equipment.

The purpose of this tender is seeking one or more providers that can:

• ensure full mobile communications connectivity, including but not limited to mobile phone and mobile internet data access, to the Organization’s headquarters employees in Rome and headquarters travellers worldwide;
• provide competitive rates for both voice and data traffic. The statistics section of this specification contains the number of users and traffic volumes in a recent 6 month period;
• provide comprehensive support services, including but not limited to the Service Desk support, provision and replacement of phones and devices and submission of billing in electronic format.
• provide handsets and related mobile devices and accessories, upon request, to the Organization, according to an agreed catalogue and price list, periodically updated
