The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northeastern Provinces Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Package No. HG 04: Construction of water supply system and installation of pipeline system including equipment and auxiliary in Vinh Quang Town, Tu Nhan commune and Ban Nhung commune, Hoang Su Phi district.
The Project Management Unit of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Planning and Investment now invites eligible contractors to submit online bid for the works under Package HG 04: Construction of water supply system with the capacity of 2,000m3/day. Water treatment plant with surface water treatment technology, including: Vertical clarifier tank, filter tank, disinfection with chemicals, clean water tank and other auxiliary structures. Transmission and distribution pipeline networks of steel or HDPE. Construction period is 18 months.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Open Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Asian Development Bank’s Procurement Guidelines 2015, as amended from time to time (“Procurement Guidelines”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
