Procurement of Canopy Renovation Isar Building

Item Description:

The European Patent Organisation is an intergovernmental organisation that was set up on 7 October 1977 on the basis of the European Patent Convention (EPC) signed in Munich in 1973. It has two bodies, the European Patent Office and the Administrative Council.

The European Patent Office, the executive arm of the European Patent Organisation, offers inventors a uniform application procedure which enables them to seek patent protection in up to 44 countries. The Office is supervised by the Administrative Council.

Objective of this tender

The European Patent Organisation issues this tender for Canopy Renovation Isar Building.

The tender is prepared in 2 lots:

• LOT 1: ground work, steel construction and facade work (main lot)
• LOT 2: steel construction work (structural works)

During the renovation following existing problems are to be solved:

• Replacement of the wired glasses in the overhead glazing that are no longer permitted
• Leaks through building entry
• Upgrading of the lack of trace heating for the panes
• Existing thermal bridges in the vestibule are eliminated by new thermally split profiles
• The inadequate drainage of the canopy is optimized
