Provision of Travel Agency Services for the Delegation of the European Union to Tanzania

Item Description:

The European Union, represented by the European Union Delegation to Tanzania, referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.

Purpose

The contracting authority intends to conclude a framework service contract for the provision of travel agency services, in accordance with the specifications set out in the procurement documents.

Subject of the Contract

The contractor shall provide the human and material resources necessary to provide the service in the non-exhaustive list below:

• the provision of all the information needed to organise the trip (timetables, prices and availability of transport and accommodation or any special requirements);
• booking, issuing tickets, making changes or cancelling the following: air, rail, ferry transport, car rental and hotel rooms;
• assisting the staff on mission within and outside the territory of Tanzania with any issues related to their travel.

This contract relates exclusively to work-related travel of the staff of the contracting authority. The place of performance is Dar el Salaam, Tanzania.

The missions will be mainly in Tanzania but also to Europe and other destinations.
