United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Beirut, Lebanon, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in upcoming tender solicitations for the Provision of services for the Supply, Install, Test, and Commission Photovoltaic Solar System in Deir Qanoun El Nahr Municipality, Lebanon
The project aims at providing affordable supply of electricity to the municipality and decrease its reliance on diesel generators. This in turn is expected to have a positive impact on the overall energy consumption and expenditure of the municipality.
The scope of works shall include but not limited to:
– Supply and Installation of the system with the following specifications;Capacity of approx. 76 KWp and Energy storage of approx. 940 KWh. The activities in this phase shall include but not limited to supply and installation of Solar panels, Batteries, Solar Charge Controller, Inverter, provision of all necessary electrical components, supply and installation of all cabling (underground or above ground) and LED street lights of approx 100W Power and 130Lm/W.
– Commissioning and testing of the system – this includes commissioning and testing the functionality of the installed system to ensure that is operates as per expected performance.
– Operation and Maintenance – Maintenance of the installed solar system to ensure that the installed system is functioning consistently and regularly serviced during the warranty period (2 years).
Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN’s sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents
UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email.
