The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has received financing from ADB toward the cost of Scaling up Demand – Side Energy Efficiency Sector Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) (the “Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of 2.4 Million Smart Meters for Pan India under Scaling up Demand – Side Energy Efficiency Sector Project p(the “Goods”).
The detailed scope of works for above tender is described in the Bidding Documents.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
